The founders and directors of NXT Ladder Up have both experienced and seen first hand the profound, positive impact of sport, the arts and education on the lives of individuals, organisations and entire communities.
NXT Ladder UP (CIC) represents our organisations dedication to fulfilling our core aims. Through our free and accessible community activities and our network of likeminded organisations, we set out to grow cultural capital, build character, create performance pathways, increase employability and build resilient mental fitness in young people.
Access
The first step on the Ladder UP.
Accessible, enriching sports, arts and education activity for young people developing skills, attitudes and attributes, regardless of their socio-economic status.
‘Process’ students mentor and support those on the ‘Access’ scheme learning the value of giving back and creating interconnected pathways centred on social responsibility and collaboration. In turn, ‘Process’ recruits earn funded qualifications and participate in programmes to increase self-esteem, develop employability and soft skills and enable agency, a sense of belonging and contribution.

Success
Equipped and enabled, mentally and physically fit, NXT Ladder Up graduates take their first strides into the world of employment. Through NXT Level and our partners, our young adults are given employment opportunities and supported with entrepreneurial efforts which align with their passions and play to their strengths.

We offer free and subsidised access to activity for all pupil premium children and, if you have any other accessibility needs beyond this, we are always keen to find solutions for how best we can help get you involved!
